Local author Maria E. Andreu debuts her novel LOVE IN ENGLISH in this virtual event in collaboration with Leonia Public Library. Join this virtual celebration to learn more about the road to publication and the story. LOVE IN ENGLISH tells the tale of Ana, who moves to the U.S. without speaking much English. It's a tale of finding your voice in any language, and was inspired by the author's own experiences of learning English as a young immigrant. 

The book has received a starred review from School Library Journal and is a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection. The first ten participants to sign up for this virtual event will receive a copy of the book. Every participant to sign up can pick up a signed bookmark at the library.
