HOW YOUR DONATIONS ARE USED

Government funding pays only a portion of the Library's operating expenses. We depend on support from generous individuals like you to help keep our books, classes, and resources FREE for all Leonians. As ever, we are grateful for your continual support.

 

Here is how your donations made a difference for the Leonia Public Library in 2023!

  • Funding for all library programming, which saw over 8,300 total attendants in 2023

  • Additional funding for our Summer Reading activities, which expanded with nearly 500 participants and over 430,000 logged minutes of reading

  • Expansion of our ESL courses, which meets twice per week with instructor Ann Sayari

  • Acquisition of our new book truck unit in the children’s room

  • Continued efforts to preserve our Local History collection, and provide digital access via Past Perfect

  • Continued funding of our Museum Pass programs, including passes for the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim

  • Addition of 2 mobile WiFi hotspots (7 overall!) & other STEAM lending materials

Leonia Library Gift Donation Forms

The Leonia Public Library's Memorial/Gift Fund is a wonderful way to honor a friend or loved one. Donated books or audiovisual items will be used and enjoyed by Library patrons for years to come. This is a special way of remembering or honoring someone dear.

The Leonia Public Library will accept gift donation forms at the Circulation Desk, or you may print out the donation form and mail it in with your gift to:

We will acknowledge receipt of your gift and notify the family. A gift plate will be placed on the item with an appropriate and agreed upon message.
