• Reading Kick Off: Zoophoria NJ visits the library for a wildlife program featuring Tripod the Tortoise on Monday, June 17th at 3:30pm.

• Field Station Dinosaurs visit the library on Thursday, June 20th at 6pm

• Concert in the Park: The Kootz visit Wood Park on Wednesday, July 10th at 7pm (Bring a blanket or chair. If rain the concert will be held in the library).

• Summer Reading Send Off Trivia: August 12th at 3:30pm.

Summer reading instructions

• Use code cb596 to find our program and select your age group.

• Count the time you spend reading. The app has a timer to help you.

• Please Note: While logging your time spent reading, minutes should not exceed 480 on any given day.

• Reading for an hour earns you one raffle ticket. Prizes are not specific to age group. Tickets can go in any raffle box.

• The raffle winners will be picked and notified on August 13th.

• Last call to pick up tickets is August 12th before 7:30pm.

• Please write your name and phone number clearly on each raffle ticket (you don’t have to write your email).

• Make sure to pick up your tickets and add them to the raffle box of your choosing before the program ends.
  

• Adults and teens

  • Visit the main desk to pick up earned tickets and add them to the desired Grand Prize raffle boxes.

• Children

  • Reading an hour earns one raffle ticket and one spin on the prize wheel.

  • Visit the children’s desk to pick up earned tickets and spin the prize wheel. Only one spin per day is allowed. (Teens may spin the prize wheel if desired)

  • If your child is Pre-K or younger you may read to them and log the time. Be aware that some prizes may not be suitable for all ages.

If you don't have access to a computer, you can still participate! Write down the time you spent reading, and one of our staff members will enter the information for you.
